To the editor: I always watch the Pittsfield City Council meetings.
I have seen the antics and posturing for the cameras.
You will never see that from Peter Marchetti. As council president, he is fair and provides good guidance regarding the rules and procedures. If he disagrees, it is done privately, and he works toward a solution to get things done. He is a man of his word.
Now that he is running for mayor, I am sure that he will continue to be fair, listen to all sides and make good decisions for our city. I am voting for Peter Marchetti and I hope you do, too.
